Scientific Games Names Andrew Jackson as New VP of ESG

Scientific Games, a global leader in analytics, technology, digital and retail games, has appointed Andrew Jackson as its new vice president of environmental, social and governance (ESG). In his new role, Jackson will be responsible for developing strategic ESG initiatives for the company worldwide.

Jackson, who has extensive experience in ESG and a background in engineering, joined Scientific Games in 1999. Prior to his new role, he served as the director of quality, compliance and R&D at the company’s instant game production and technology facility in the UK.

Dena Rosenzweig, chief legal officer for Scientific Games, praised Jackson’s wealth of experience and expertise in sustainability, noting that his knowledge will lead the company into the next era of responsible growth. Rosenzweig expressed confidence that under Jackson’s guidance, the company’s ESG programs will have a successful impact on communities and industries across the globe.

In addition to his role at Scientific Games, Jackson will work to streamline ESG projects with the company’s global pillars, which focus on minimizing environmental impact, empowering employees and partners, and promoting healthy play and lottery literacy.

Scientific Games, which became an independent company in 2022 with a focus on the lottery industry, is recognized as the largest developer and manager of instant lottery games. The company is also a leader in the sports betting vertical, providing technology, loyalty programs, and solutions. Annually, Scientific Games’ partners generate billions of dollars through various charity programs while promoting responsible gambling.

In November, Scientific Games announced its support for the National Council on Problem Gambling’s annual Gift Responsibly campaign for the sixth consecutive year. This commitment reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to positively impact communities and promote responsible gaming.
