Betano, the leading betting brand of Kaizen Gaming, has been announced as the official partner of CONMEBOL, the soccer confederation of South America. This partnership will involve Betano sponsoring the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024.
The agreement will extend Betano’s role as the official partner of CONMEBOL until 2028, allowing the sports betting operator to capitalize on the popularity of the confederation’s events to promote its brand.
As part of the deal, Betano will sponsor various CONMEBOL tournaments and leagues, including the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic tournament, CONMEBOL Copa America Women, CONMEBOL Copa America Futsal Men and Women, CONMEBOL Copa America Beach Soccer, and more. The CONMEBOL Copa America, which is scheduled to begin in June and will be held in stadiums across the US, is expected to provide Betano with significant brand exposure.
This is not the first time Betano has entered into a sponsorship agreement with a top soccer federation. In the previous year, the sports betting powerhouse became the first-ever gambling partner of the UEFA European Championship.
In response to the new partnership, CONMEBOL’s president, Alejandro Dominguez, expressed excitement and welcomed Kaizen Gaming and Betano to the CONMEBOL family. Dominguez commended Betano’s dedication to professional soccer and gaming innovation, emphasizing that the brand’s vision aligns with CONMEBOL’s future goals for soccer in Latin America.
George Daskalakis, the founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, also expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, highlighting CONMEBOL’s status as the most respected soccer organization in Latin America. Daskalakis emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing fan engagement in South American soccer and providing responsible betting experiences for fans.
Overall, the new partnership between Betano and CONMEBOL is expected to enhance the fan experience and strengthen the presence of both entities in the South American soccer landscape.
