BoyleSports Deal Extended for Three Years by Playtech

The leader in the gambling industry, Playtech, has recently expanded its agreement with BoyleSports, a global sports betting and gaming company operating in various regions. Initially set to expire in 2025, the deal has been extended, allowing Playtech to continue providing its exclusive Live Casino offering to BoyleSports until 2025. Additionally, Playtech will maintain its exclusivity over BoyleSports’ branded live casino tables, as well as their award-winning Poker and Bingo content until the end of 2028.

Panos Scoursis, Playtech’s commercial director, expressed excitement about the extended agreement and emphasized their commitment to providing innovative solutions to meet the needs of their customers while promoting responsible gaming practices. BoyleSports’ gaming director, Steve Payne, also expressed delight with the extended deal, stating that it presents an exciting opportunity to continue growing their business and enhancing the customer experience across all verticals.

In December, Playtech made headlines when it attempted to acquire British gambling company William Hill for £700 million, a move that was ultimately turned down. Additionally, Playtech joined the Danish betting and casino trade group Spillebranchen in December.

BoyleSports, known as Ireland’s largest independently owned sportsbook, has been in operation since 1982, with over 390 shops across the UK and Ireland. The company recently appointed Michail Koutsoukos as its new head of customer engagement, bringing valuable experience from his time at successful gambling companies, Kindred Group and Kaizen Gaming.

Overall, the expanded agreement between Playtech and BoyleSports signifies a strengthened partnership and presents opportunities for continued growth and innovation in the gambling industry.
