LeoVegas’ Global CMO Position Left Vacant as Niklas Lindahl Steps Down

After more than six years with LeoVegas Group, Niklas Lindahl, the company’s global chief marketing officer (CMO), has announced his departure. He confirmed the news on Monday via LinkedIn, expressing his gratitude for the “most amazing 5 years” in his career and describing his time at LeoVegas as “a great ride.”

Lindahl’s journey with the company began in April 2018 when he joined as the managing director for Italy, overseeing relationships with operators in the country. He then moved on to become the head of Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) markets and eventually took on the role of general manager – Europe and North America before being promoted to global CMO.

In his position as global CMO, Lindahl led a team of over 100 experts, playing a pivotal role in developing the company’s branding and marketing strategy. He also oversaw financial processes, optimized budgets, and monitored key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue growth and long and short-term market share expansion.

Lindahl’s departure comes on the heels of several strategic hires at LeoVegas. Earlier this month, Ben Ingham joined as the UK country manager, following the addition of James Elliot, the company’s new director of legal, back in January.

In his farewell message, Lindahl expressed his gratitude to LeoVegas and his colleagues, calling his time with the company a privilege and thanking CEO Gustaf Hagman for his exceptional leadership.

Overall, Lindahl’s departure marks the end of an era at LeoVegas, as the company looks to continue its growth and success with new leadership in place.
