MFC Foundation receives sponsorship space from Kindred’s donation

Kindred Group, the primary sponsor of Middlesbrough FC, has announced that it will be donating its front-of-shirt sponsorship space for the upcoming match against Millwall FC. Instead of displaying its own logo, the gambling operator has opted to showcase the logo of the MFC Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on raising aspirations and improving the lives of individuals in the Teesside region.

The decision to temporarily replace their logo with the MFC Foundation’s logo is a way for Kindred to draw attention to the foundation’s impactful work. The MFC Foundation’s activities are supported and funded by various commercial partners, including Kindred Group.

In addition to the logo swap, Kindred is also a supporter of the MFC Foundation’s “Think With Your Feet” program, which provides a platform for local men to engage in soccer while discussing their mental health issues. Moreover, Kindred has generously donated its hospitality access to the Millwall fixture to participants from MFC Foundation’s Walking Football and East Cleveland Fitness sessions.

As part of the agreement, Middlesbrough FC’s players will be wearing the MFC Foundation’s logo during the warm-up session for the upcoming match. Neil Banbury, Managing Director for the UK at Kindred Group, expressed the company’s commitment to implementing a new kind of sponsorship model that promotes positive initiatives like those of the MFC Foundation.
