The Powerball jackpot has continued to grow, reaching close to $200 million after nearly a month without a winner. The latest drawing on Saturday, January 27, saw two players win a second-tier prize, but no one claimed the grand prize. The winning numbers were 7, 38, 65, 66, 68, and the red Powerball 21. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Monday, January 29, 2024, is $174 million, with a cash value of $83.9 million before taxes.

In the Saturday drawing, almost 390,000 players won a $4 prize, while nearly 135,000 players secured an $8 Power Play prize by guessing the red Powerball or one white ball with the red Powerball. Two players correctly guessed all the white balls and won $1,000,000 each, while two others correctly guessed four white balls and the red Powerball, winning $100,000 each.

Thirteen players who guessed four white balls along with the red Powerball won a $50,000 prize each, and 247 players who guessed four white balls won $100 each. Additionally, 84 players won a $200 Power Play prize.

The Mega Millions jackpot is also on the rise, reaching an estimated $311 million or a cash option of $147.0 million after surviving the Friday drawing. The next drawing for Mega Millions is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Both popular lottery games offer players the chance to win life-changing sums of money and continue to attract a large number of participants.
