SIS Expands Horse Racing Offerings with New Partnership
Sports Information Services (SIS), the leading supplier of betting services for gambling operators worldwide, has announced a new partnership that will significantly enhance its horse racing offering. The company has entered into a deal with the Korea Racing Authority, allowing it to expand its live racing content with premium horse racing fixtures from Korea.
As part of the agreement, SIS will now have access to over 200 fixtures annually from Seoul and Busan, providing access to 1,800 races. This expansion of its Asian content offering is expected to create new opportunities for the company with operators globally. The new collaboration with the Korea Racing Authority comes on the heels of SIS’s recent expansion into South Africa and Australia, further bolstering its international presence.
The addition of Korean horse racing content is anticipated to broaden the popularity of horse racing from Korea on a global scale. SuHyeong Lee, the Korea Racing Authority’s head of international races and relations, expressed excitement about joining forces with SIS and expanding the visibility of Korean racing. Similarly, Conall McSorley, SIS’ head of international horse racing, EMEA, emphasized the significance of offering quality racing fixtures from Korea and the potential for creating new betting opportunities.
With this new partnership, SIS is poised to enhance its position as a provider of international racing content and further solidify its standing as a leading supplier of betting services and content. This collaboration is expected to benefit both bettors and operators in different markets, as SIS continues to expand and diversify its offerings.
In related news, SIS recently announced its decision to step back from its greyhound simulcast operations in the United States by the end of 2023, signaling a strategic shift in its business operations.
