A deadly shooting in Las Vegas has left two people dead, with a third person in critical condition and a fourth wounded, but with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident took place near the Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod at the end of the Vegas Strip. The four men involved were reportedly arguing in the middle of West Chicago Avenue on Wednesday, but the cause of the altercation is still unknown. The altercation escalated, leading two of the men to pull out firearms and open fire.
Although many bystanders witnessed the shooting, none of them were injured. However, the participants were not as fortunate. One man died at the scene, while the other three were taken to Valley Hospital Medical Center. One of them later succumbed to his injuries, with the other two still fighting for their lives.
Police detectives examined the scene to gather evidence, including the firearms used in the shooting. As of now, no charges have been filed, but the two survivors could face charges for their involvement in the incident.
The identities of the four men have not been released, and autopsies are expected to be conducted to confirm their identities and causes of death. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the shooting and has yet to provide further details on the case.
